Wiesława Galińska to be the new General Director of the Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry from 1 April 2024

At its meeting on 23 February, the PCEI Council decided to appoint Wiesława Galińska as General Director of the Chamber and to promote Jan Studencki to the position of Deputy Director.

Wiesława Galińska has been associated with the Poznań International Fair since the beginning of her professional career. She started work as a young engineer in a junior clerical position and climbed the career ladder all the way to the positions of Product Group Director and Director for Public Affairs. As Head of the Exhibition Stand Construction Department, she reorganised it. She initiated the transformation of Poznań’s famous June trade fair and its positioning among the leading industrial events – as ITM Polska, and today ITM Industry Europe. She played a part in the creation of, among others, the Geenpower and Expopower trade fairs. She created a vision of how modern ecology is perceived – POLECO. She is a member of many industry bodies and has received industry decorations and distinctions. We believe that her wealth of experience, her knowledge of the industry and her ease in establishing contacts will contribute to the further development of the Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry.

Wiesława Galińska will replace the outgoing General Director, Beata Kozyra.

Jan Studencki is an experienced manager who has been associated with the exhibition industry for twenty years. In 2004–2006 he served as Promotion Coordinator at the Polish Trade Fair Corporation, and since 2006 he has held the position of Project Manager. Over 20 years of professional work he has taken part in most of the projects carried out by the Chamber. He is an excellent communicator and builds lasting interpersonal relationships. We believe that the experience he has gained in the industry over the years and his knowledge of its specific nature will be valuable assets in the further development of the Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry.

Our warmest congratulations!
