The year 2025 opens a new chapter in the history of trade fair data auditing. CENTREX – the organisation that has safeguarded the transparency and reliability of statistics in Central and Eastern Europe for almost three decades – will from now on operate under the auspices of the Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry as CENTREX-PCEI.
CENTREX International Exhibition Statistics Union is an organisation founded in 1997 to audit and certify trade fair data, and also to promote trade fairs as an effective direct marketing tool in the region.
From September 2025, CENTREX will continue its activities under the auspices of the Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry, as CENTREX-PCEI. This step means not only the continuation of CENTREX’s mission, but also its further development under the wing of an organisation that has for years been actively involved in developing and representing the exhibition industry.
PCEI has taken over the organisation’s full know-how and knowledge base, together with the support of its experienced auditors – Karoly Nagy and Ildiko Molnar. CENTREX, as a member of UFI – The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry – remains a recognised and respected brand whose mission and experience are gaining new opportunities for development.
The new audit team, formed jointly by experts from CENTREX and PCEI and industry specialists from Kielce and Kraków, will be responsible for independent audits of trade fairs in Central and Eastern Europe. The aim remains unchanged: to provide reliable, comparable and transparent data that support the professionalisation of the industry and build trust among organisers, exhibitors and international institutions.
