Last Thursday, 20 June 2024, students of the Gospodarka i Ekonomia w Dziejach (Economy and Economics in History, GiEwD) programme at Adam Mickiewicz University (UAM) had the opportunity to attend a lecture on the specific nature and workings of the exhibition industry in Wielkopolska, given by a PCEI member, Mr Krzysztof Szofer, Vice-President of the Management Board of BWS Expo Plus.
The lecture was very interesting, and the whole meeting took place in a great atmosphere thanks to the speaker, who talked about technical and business matters in a very accessible way and with a good dose of humour.
Meetings like this – with practitioners from the industry – are invaluable for students’ development, allowing them to gain valuable experience and first-hand knowledge.
