35 years of Gdańsk International Fair

Gdańsk International Fair (Międzynarodowe Targi Gdańskie, MTG) has more than 35 years of experience. For over 10 years it has managed the AMBEREXPO venue, whose multifunctional character makes it possible to organise trade fairs, congresses, conferences, concerts and business meetings – the company has all kinds of event space and the appropriate infrastructure at its disposal. All this is thanks to more than 13,000 m² of space, as well as the adjacent grounds. The venue is constantly being modernised and developed – construction is now beginning on a new hall and a hotel integrated with the exhibition and congress centre.

More than 250,000 visitors a year and over 110 events – from business trade fairs, through a music festival and immersive exhibitions, to events for children and senior citizens. This is AMBEREXPO, managed by Gdańsk International Fair, which creates trade fair titles such as Międzynarodowe Targi Kolejowe TRAKO (International Railway Fair), Międzynarodowe Targi Morskie i Militarne BALTEXPO (International Maritime and Military Fair) and Międzynarodowe Targi Bursztynu i Biżuterii AMBERIF (International Fair of Amber and Jewellery), and co-organises, among others, Inside Seaside.

The exhibition and congress complex in Gdańsk is alive all year round and is still developing. A new hall will be opened in 2025, followed by a hotel a year later. The new facilities will bring new opportunities, including opening AMBEREXPO up to congresses and film production. Gdańsk International Fair also operates beyond this venue. This means above all Jarmark św. Dominika (St. Dominic's Fair) and Jarmark Bożonarodzeniowy (the Christmas Fair), which are visited by a total of more than 2.3 million people over the summer and autumn months. MTG is also behind the revival of the KOT club, famous across the Tricity, which now houses a restaurant, an arthouse cinema and a music club. The company is also constructing a service, leisure and sports building with a swimming pool, which will be located in Gdańsk's Wrzeszcz district.
