On Wednesday, February 22, 2017, we met the laureates of the contest by Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry the Exposition of the Year 2016 . This year, our Members submitted the total of 23 exposition to the contest in three categories – trade fair expositions up to 50 m, trade fair expositions above 50 m and event expositions. The Jury, composed of Przemysław Trawa, Adam Gabrysiak, Izabela E. Kwiatkowska, Prof. Remigiusz Grochal, Prof. Andrzej Wielgosz, Prof. Jacek Ojrzanowski, Prof. Włodzimierz Bartczak, Jacek Szlak, Maciej Sobolewski awarded the following prizes: In the category of trade fair expositions up to 50m2 – two ex aequo 1st places: 1st place – the exposition of D+H Polska, designed by Marta Pietrucha and Przemysław Furman (Project Manager) of Meliński Minuth from Poznań, executed by Meliński Minuth at Securex 2016 fair in Poznań. 1st place – the exposition of HUSH Creative Design Group, designed by Toamsz Kwieciński of Meliński Minuth from Poznań, executed by Meliński Minuth at Orgatec 2016 in Cologne. In the category of trade fair expositions up to 50m2 – two ex aequo 1st places, 3rd place and 4 honourable mentions: 1st place – the exposition of Asten Group (Plastigo) from Częstochowa, designed by Sławomir Kaczmarek, Zuzanna Weiss-Bartkowiak and Tomasz Kwieciński of Meliński Minuth from Poznań, executed by Meliński Minuth at Plastpol 2016 fair in Kielce. 1st place – the exposition of Somfy from Warsaw, designed by Magdalen Gyurkovich of WMG Studio from Poznań, coordinated by Kazimierz Głuchowski, executed by IDEA EXPO – Poznań International Fair at Budma 2016 in Poznań. 3rd place – the exposition of Komplet Polska from Tarnowo Podgórne near Poznań, designed by Paulina Brodowska of Meliński Minuth from Poznań, executed by Meliński Minuth at Polagra Tech 2016 in Poznań. Taking into account the high level of submitted projects, the Jury awarded four honourable mentions: • the exposition of Mazaya, designed by Gizela Rozwadowska-Mylko and Anastasia Ratsko of Expo – Linia from Buk near Poznań, executed by Expo – Linia at Inter Tabac fair in Dortmund, • the exposition of CASE IH from Płock, designed by Marcin Gradkowski of Fairtex Design from Poznań, executed by Fairtex Design at Agro Show 2016 in Bednary, • the exposition of R2 Trade AG (ELIXA), designed by Marta Pietrucha of Meliński Minuth from Poznań, executed by Meliński Minuth at Inhorgenta fair in Munich, • the exposition of Grupa Kety, designed by Paulina Brodowska of Meliński Minuth from Poznań, executed by Meliński Minuth at Aluminium fair in Dusseldorf, In the category of event expositions – 1st place and two ex aequo 3rd places: 1st place – the exposition of Cavaliada Summer Jumping, according to the concept of Dominik Nowacki / Zbigniew Józefiok, executed in Kołobrzeg by IDEAEXPO.MTP Poznań International Fair. 3rd place – the exposition of the National Assembly, technical coordinator: Zbigniew Józefiok, executed in Poznań by IDEAEXPO.MTP Poznań International Fair 3rd place – the exposition of Renault Polska, designed by Marta Pietrucha and Anna Widźgowska, executed in Poznań by Meliński Minuth at POZNAŃ MOTOR SHOW. Congratulations to all the winners and participants! The participants of the Exposition of the Year contest are companies which offer services of design and construction of exhibition and event expositions, associated in PCEI – the only national exhibition sector association in Poland. The Jury of the contest is composed of representatives of three environments: practitioners of exhibition stand design, experts of tertiary institutions which have departments specializing in interior architecture and exhibiting, and finally representatives of the media related to interior architecture and marketing.
