Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry – the leading organisation which associates the companies of the exhibition sector in Poland – elected Przemysław Trawa the President of the Board of the Chamber during the first meeting of the Board in 2015. The former President – Andrzej Byrt – who held this post in the years 2011 – 2014, assumed a diplomatic post in Paris at the beginning of January. On January 14, 2015, during its first meeting, the Board of Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry adopted a resolution to appoint a new President of PCEI. Przemysław Trawa, Chairman of the Board of Poznań International Fair, was unanimously elected the new President. Andrzej Byrt stepped down from the post of President of PCEI on 31.12.2014. The reason for the resignation was his assumption of the post of the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in the French Republic and the Principality of Monaco. Przemysław Trawa has been connected with Poznań International Fair since 1983. He was responsible for the Economic Department and then he served as the Economic and Organisational Director. Between 2007 and 2009 he served as the Chairman of the Board. Twice he has been the Vice-Chairman of the Board of PIF (in 1996 – 2007 and in 2009 – 2014). The lecturer of the Poznań School of Banking at postgraduate studies in foreign exchange law. Przemysław Trawa was responsible, among others, for the coordination of activities on PIF fairgrounds which accompanied the Polish presidency of the European Council, as well as for the coordination of events connected with the United Nations Climate Summit – COP 14 in Poznań and COP 19 in Warsaw. Since January 1, 2015, again he has been the Chairman of the Board of PIF.
