Poznań International Fair won the first prize in category EDUCATION in the contest POLISHOPA HONEYCOMB AWARD 2017. The organizer of the contest recognized the training project entitled “Design Thinking Club”, put up by Poznań International Fair. MTP HR Manager, Izabella Koniak, and moderators team received the award during the POLISHOPA Design Thinking Conference Bydgoszcz on 6 June. During the preparation of the project, we assumed the participation of the highest possible number of employees. Our company employs over 400 people who perform various tasks and we wanted to acquaint every single employee with this foreign-sounding method and show them its potential and possibilities of using it in even the simplest, every day activities – said Izabella Koniak, the HR Manager. Design thinking is a new approach to the innovation process, which involves works of project teams and structured creative path. Its aim is to find solutions ready for implementation in the business with the help of available project tools and techniques. POLISHOPA Design Thinking Conference Bydgoszcz 2017 is a cyclical conference with an international dimension. This year, apart from the two lecture parts, Revolution Day and Innovation Day, held in the Opera Nova, POLISHOPA also includes two workshop days – Challenge Days – for those who would like to try themselves in design works with methodology. POLISHOPA is the biggest international conference dedicated to design thinking and service design in Poland.
