Recently published Report by CENTREX – the International Exhibition Statistics Union, confirms that 2013 was a successful year for the Polish exhibitions. Polish organizers are in the lead of the ranking in the most important categories. The Report contains statistics of exhibitions in Central and Eastern Europe, including the statistics of exhibitions organized by the members of Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry. One of the most important exhibition associations in the world – CENTREX has published its annual Report. CENTREX Report 2013 – Central and Eastern European Exhibition Statistics contains audited statistical data of over 330 exhibitions organized in 26 cities from Bucharest, Plovdiv, Budva, Kiev – in the South-East of the Region, to Szczecin, Poznań, Gdańsk – in the North-West. The Report is available free of charge at: www.centrexstat.org. It is also published at the website of UFI – the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry. The statistical data audited by CENTREX will be soon published in the annual UFI Report Euro Fair Statistics. Poland on top, PIF in the lead Polish exhibition centers are in the lead in the most important categories. According to CENTREX statistics the first three organizers in Central and Eastern Europe in terms of the rented exhibition space are: first place – Poznań International Fair (316,190 m2), second place – Kielce Fair (174,740 m2), third place – Brno Fair (105,328 m2). In terms of the number of exhibitors the leader is also Poznań International Fair with 9,602 exhibitors. The second place went to Kielce Fair with 6,008 exhibitors. The third place went to Kyiv International Contract Fair – 4,384 exhibitors. PIF was also ranked first in the category of visitors. In 2013 the exhibitions in Poznań were visited by 487,931 visitors. The second was Brno Fair (252,176 visitors), and the Czech exhibition organizer VÝSTAVIŠTĚ České Budějovice came third (228,002 visitors).
