The cooperation between Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry and the MICE sector, which started last year, is intensifying. Another joint project has just started. On March 20-24, 2017, Warsaw was the venue for the conference Meetings Week Poland 2017. PCEI became the Strategic Partner of this prestigious event. The conference is a 5-day cycle of conferences and networking meetings with the participation of representatives of corporations and trade associations, who are responsible for planning events, procuring services for business trips and meetings, service providers, hotels and conference centres, as well as journalists, representatives of local authorities and politicians. The stand will offer promotional materials of PCEI and members of the EOM brand consortium, as well as the latest, unique PCEI Report Exhibition in Poland in 2016 . An important event for the MICE industry The aim of the Meetings Week Poland is to demonstrate the scale of the MICE sector in Poland, its importance for the economy, and gather at one time persons from the whole sector to express opinions important for the future of the professionals responsible for various types of events, conferences and congresses. The last year’s edition of the Meetings Week Poland 2016 attracted over 1,200 participants. The event is organized jointly by organizations of that sector: MPI Poland – International Association of Meeting Organizers, SBE – Event Sector Association, SKKP – Association Conferences and Congresses in Poland , SOIT – Association of Incentive Travel Organizers, SITE, Poland Convention Bureau POT, Warsaw School of Tourism and Hospitality Management, the Warsaw Voice (magazine), Meetingplanner.pl (portal) The Minister of Transport and Tourism assumed patronage over the event.
