On April 25, 2016, in Lublin, in the office of the Mayor of the City of Lublin, at the invitation of Mayor Krzysztof Żuk, there was a meeting of the Chapter of the Honorary Title of PCEI the Exhibition Ambassador 2015 . The Chapter presented the Honorary Title of PCEI the Exhibition Ambassador 2015 to Prof. Jacek Majchrowski, the Mayor of Krakow. Congratulations! The Chapter pointed out that Mayor Majchrowski had acknowledged the importance and prestige of exhibitions for the development and promotion of Krakow. The International Exhibition and Congress Centre EXPO Krakow, opened in 2014, is promoted by the Mayor at the same level as the congress and event venues owned by the city. In its ongoing activities and in international contacts, he also underlines the importance of this venue as a significant place for the development of business and entrepreneurship. His activities for the promotion and development of the Book Fair in Krakow are outstanding. Each year he grants his Patronage to the event and he supports the Jan Długosz contest organized by the Book Fair, which is dedicated to humanistic publications.
