Our trade exhibitions, like KRAKDENT® Dentistry Fair, enjoysuch popularity that we are not able to accommodate everyone. We are planningmany different exhibitions and theme events which will meet the expectations ofinhabitants of Kraków, Małopolska, the whole country and internationalexhibitors and visitors. The interest in our venue exceeded our wildestexpectations – said Grażyna Grabowska, CEO of Targi w Krakowie, last year. The preparation of documentation necessary to launchthe construction process took almost four years. But the largest venue of thiskind in the Southern Poland was constructed at an express speed – theconstruction itself… only nine months! The value of the investment is estimatedat PLN 70 million. The most important advantage of the venue will be itsmultifunctionality. A large (13 thousand m2) and unlimited space (twopavilions– 4 and 5 thousand m2) will be ideal as an exhibition venue and a conferencecenter. The exhibition pavilion, transformed into an auditorium, will allow forthe organization of congresses even for 5 thousand participants. EXPO Krakówall offers a set of air-conditioned, modular conference rooms, a spacious lobbyand a restaurant. The private enterprise i.e. Targi w Krakowie, the owner and operatorof the new venu, financed 100%of the construction of the access road to the city center. Galicyjska Street, right off Centralna, will allow for convenient access to the centre of town. Itis named after the historic name of the region in which Kraków is located andcorresponds to the names of various rooms and facilities inside theInternational Exhibition and Convention Centre EXPO Kraków, i.e. the GaliciaRestaurant; the Bratislava, Vienna, Budapest, Prague and Lviv conference roomsand the Vistula and Danube exhibition halls. It is worth mentioning that the investment wascompleted by the company from Kraków Re-Bau.
