Grażyna Grabowska awarded for her contribution the development of the Polish economy

On July 23, 2015, during a festive ceremony the Minister of the Economy and Deputy Prime Minister presented Awards of Merit for the Economic Development of the Republic of Poland. Among the recognized was Grażyna Grabowska – the CEO of Targi w Krakowie Sp. z o.o. and the Vice President of Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry. The honourable awards recognize natural persons and collective entities active in the field of economy, who make significant contribution to its development. The Awards of Merit for the Economic Development of the Republic of Poland are a new type of award which will make it possible to recognize and award outstanding achievements in the field of innovation, promotion of the Polish industry, implementation of new technologies, research and development activities and the application of efficient management methods. During 20 years Targi w Krakowie has build a forum for information exchange and presentation of trends between enterprises from Poland and abroad. In the Report by Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry in 2014, the company ranked first among organizers of events with private capital – both in terms of rented space and the number of exhibitors. The construction of the International Exhibition and Convention Centre EXPO Kraków was an impulse to intensify contacts between Polish and foreign entrepreneurs. The city acquired the long-expected place for business meetings which matches the world standards.
