On 22-24.11.2017, Łódź hosted the 9th Winter Convention of Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry. The 3-day-long, most important sector event in Poland, with the record attendance of 101 participants, was an opportunity for discussions on tendencies and directions of development of the exhibition sector, challenges which currently are in front of exhibition professionals and for formulation of basic principles of the PCEI action plan for 2018, which will be marked by the 25th anniversary of the exhibition self-government in Poland An important element of the program of the 9th Winter PCEI Convention was the training for exhibition professionals devoted to key changes in the legislation regarding labour law, income tax and personal data protection. Also decisions taken by the Extraordinary General Meeting of PCEI concerning the modification of the form of operations of the Chamber were included in the amended Statute of the organization. The convention was attended by leading exhibition organizers in Poland, operators of exhibition and congress venues in Poland, the leading Polish companies in design and construction of exhibition and event expositions, the best providers of exhibition logistics, IT , marketing, advertising and other services for the exhibition sector.
