All investments in Małopolska should be run at such a pace. This was the opinion of a journalist of Radio Kraków expressed several weeks ago concerning the construction of the International Exhibition and Congress Center EXPO-Kraków. The largest venue of this kind in the Southern Poland was constructed at an express speed and is almost ready to be commissioned. The value of the investment is estimated at PLN 70 million. Express pace of construction! The preparation of documentation necessary to launch the construction process took almost 4 years. The construction itself… only 9 months! It is also important that the private enterprise i.e. Targi w Krakowie financed 100% of the construction of the access road to the city center, which was then transferred to the city. The modern and multifunction EXPO-Kraków will hold both events from the Exhibition Calendar but also those proposed by external entities. – The Book Fair, which is the largest event of this type in Poland, was visited by 40 thousand people last year. Our trade exhibitions like KRAKDENT® Dentistry Fair enjoy such popularity that we are not able to accommodate everyone. We are planning many different exhibitions and theme events which will meet the expectations of inhabitants of Kraków, Małopolska, the whole country and international exhibitors and visitors. The interest in our venue exceeded our wildest expectations – says Grażyna Grabowska, CEO of Targi w Krakowie. The whole world in Kraków The modern venue and the potential of the city are the advantages thanks to which EXPO Kraków may become the leading location not only in Poland but also in that part of Europe. Even before the official opening of the Center all dates for May 2014 have been sold out. The calendar for the following months is filling rapidly and, what is most important, the contracts are signed for long-term cooperation. International organizers from all over the world appear at the venue located on the post-industrial area which, thanks to EXPO-Kraków, will gain a completely new image. It is worth mentioning that the investment was completed by the company from Kraków Re-Bau. EXPO will definitely develop the exhibition and congress industry, which may bring new workplaces to the region. Venue for everyone The International Exhibition and Congress Center EXPO-Kraków has been created for organizers of exhibitions, congresses, conferences and all kinds of events. The most important advantage of the venue will be its multifunctionality. A large (13 thousand m2) and unlimited space (two pavilions– 4 and 5 thousand m2) will be ideal as an exhibition venue and a conference center. The exhibition pavilion, transformed into an auditorium, will allow for the organization of congresses even for 5 thousand participants.
